The production will run 16-22 October 2016 with rehearsals starting in late May/early June. They will take place twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, at the Bruntsfield Evangelical Church, Bruntsfield.

In recent years the company has staged Loserville (2015), Our House (2014), Sweet Charity (2013) and The Wedding Singer (2012).

Allegro was formed in 1977 from the then Barclay Bruntsfield Drama Group. The intention of the company was to bring lesser known or rarely performed musicals to the attention of audiences for amateur theatre in Edinburgh.

Closing date for applications is January 15, 2016 and applicants should be available to interview either in the following week or the week commencing January 25.

At the interview for Musical Director, the applicants will be expected to provide a budget forecast for a 10 instrument band band.

Anyone interested in applying for the posts should email their CV to info@allegromusical.co.uk. This also the address to request more information.
