F-Bomb celebrate International Women’s Day

F-Bomb Theatre, the Edinburgh and Glasgow-based women’s theatre company, is handing over its platform to six emerging writers for International Women’s Day, today, March 8.

The F-Bomb team, which debuted at the EdFringe of 2021 with AfterParty, has chosen six standout pieces from an open callout, exploring themes such as childlessness, domestic abuse and women’s safety.

The writers: Victoria Buse, Maddy Good, Catriona Johnston, Beth Mullen, Aimee Shields and Mirren Wilson.

Some were recorded as audio pieces, while others were filmed in Edinburgh and directed by Debi Pirie, the performer and director of EdFringe 2021’s Moonlight on Leith. The final poem by Maddy Good, was self-taped by several women of various ages and backgrounds across Scotland.

The chosen works are being shared to F-Bomb’s social media pages and website.
