Creative Scotland to asses financial impact on sector

Creative Scotland has created a new online survey to examine the impact and challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic on Scotland’s creative sectors.

The survey asks about the financial and other impact of the pandemic since March 2020. It also asks what ongoing issues individuals and companies are facing as we move into 2021 and what needs to be done to support them in facing these.

The survey is open now (click here to complete it) with responses sought from both organisations and individual artists and creative practitioners. It is open those working in the arts, screen and creative industries – including creative businesses.

Creative Scotland says that it will use the information gathered to support its discussions with Scottish Government and other partners on the scale and nature of support which may be required in the future.

The survey results (with names and individual company information removed) will also be shared publicly, as key aggregated findings on the Creative Scotland website.

Creative Scotland is urging all applicable companies and individual to fill in the survey and help  provide an overview which can be used across the sector.

The deadline for responses is Monday 21 December 2020.

Anyone with questions regarding the survey should contact: research@creativescotland.com.
