John Cleese to play EICC
December date for book tour
John Cleese is perform a one-man show at the EICC this December as part of an 11-date tour supporting his recently published memoire: So, Anyway…
The veteran comedian is returning to the stage just months after this summer’s Monty Python reunion saw the comedy troupe on stage together for the first time in 30 years.
According to publicity for the tour, in the show he will be “exploring his thoughts on topics as diverse as the nature of comedy, the relative merits of cricket and water-skiing, and the importance of knowing the dates of all the kings and queens of England.”
Full details of the date at the EICC have yet to be announced, although ticket prices at other venues on the tour range from £25 to £49.50, with most costing in the region of £30, including a copy of the book.
