Performers sought for four EdFringe shows

Kingdom Productions has put out a general casting call for both amateur and professional performers, for the four musicals it plans to stage at this year’s Edinburgh fringe.

Formed in 2012 by John Murray and Tony Delicata, the company is based in Edinburgh and Fife. It’s first hit was the 2013 fringe show Sinatra: The Final Curtain.

The company is planning three new musicals for the coming Edinburgh fringe 2016, as well as reviving its 2015 success: The Dean Martin Christmas Show.

It will be holding auditions for the various roles in these productions in Edinburgh in February.

It is on the lookout for male and female performers – both professional and non-professional – who will ideally be based in Edinburgh or the Lothians.

All auditionees must have strong singing voices, be at least 20 years old and be available for the rehearsal and performance dates from 19 July to 27 August 2016.

They should also be able to work and communicate well in an ensemble environment, have good improvisational skills and a good local (Edinburgh/East Coast Scottish) accent. Depending on which show they are auditioning for, they should also have a convincing American accent and good dancing ability.

Anyone intrested in auditioning for Kingdom should email finalcurtainshow2@gmail.com by Friday 5 February 2016 with a recent headshot and an up-to-date CV.

The fringe 2013 production of Sinatra the Final Curtain was reviewed here by Æ: ★★★☆☆  Crowdpleaser with potential.
