Lion King adds 25 perfs

The Lion King extends to April 18

The Lion King has extended its run at the Edinburgh Playhouse for 25 more performances through to Saturday 18 April 2020.

The production will then transfer to the Bradford Alhambra, where it will open on Thursday 30 April.

The 25 extra Scottish performances will go on general sale from Tuesday 14 January 2020 at 10am.

The production was originally expected to close on Sunday 29 March. These are the final dates of the Scottish leg of the tour, according to the Playhouse.

Edinburgh schools are on Easter holiday from Friday 3 to Sunday 20 April 2020.

The April performances run every Monday to Saturday evening at 7.30pm. There are matinees at 2.30pm every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday with two extra matinees during the school holidays on Thursday 9 and Friday 17 April.
