All Edinburgh’s Theatre at EdFringe 2022

As the Fringe is about to return after two fallow years, at All Edinburgh Theatre we will be focussing our attention on theatre which has been Made in Edinburgh.

And there is a great deal of it. Over 120 shows in total, coming from the Theatre, Musical Theatre and Children’s Theatre sections of the EdFringe Programme, with a few more theatre offerings from the Comedy and the Dance, Physical Theatre and Circus sections as well.

As always, the productions come from all parts of the theatre spectrum – youth, amateur, student, grassroots and funded. On the pages linked below we have tried to divide everything up a bit, although the lines between the different categories can be blurred.

Over the next three weeks our aim will be to give all the productions, from what ever genre and what ever part of the spectrum, a full and honest appraisal.

These listings are in addition to our new collaboration, supported by EPAD, which attempts to list all the professional Edinburgh-based theatre makers in the 2022 Festivals.

These are intended to be complete lists of Edinburgh-made shows. If your show is not on there – or if it could be better allocated – then please do get in touch using the contact page here.
