Erica & Me runs out on top

St Serf’s Players have won the Edinburgh round of the SCDA’s 2016 One Act Festival with their production of Eria & Me by Alan Robinson, directed by Philip Wilson.

Two of Leitheatre’s three entries came in second and third with their productions of Michael Frayn’s Audience, directed by Phyllis Ross, and Moliere’s The Flying Doctor, directed by Matt Mason.

However, as two teams from one company cannot proceed to the next round, Audience from the Leitheatre Stage Right will be joined by the Grads production of JB Priestley’s The Rose and Crown, directed by Martin Foreman.

The next round of the competition is the Eastern Divisional Final, which will be held at the Lochgelly Arts Centre over the three nights of March 31 to April 2, 2016.

The winners and runners up from the Divisional final will go forward to the Scottish Final, which returns to the Church Hill Theatre, from April 21 – 23 2016.
