Oliver!
★★★☆☆ Cheeky swagger:
One of the most charming things about an Encore production is that you can always consider yourself part of the family. And their take on Lionel Bart’s Oliver! at the Brunton is as cheeky and cheerful as you would expect, while still managing to deliver a menacing undertone.
Even more Oliver!

★★★☆☆ Less is more:
Big and bold, Southern Light Opera’s production of Oliver! is consistently entertaining but does not always convince.
More? You want more?

Review – Oliver!
A great children’s chorus and some top performances of the big set pieces make the Balerno Theatre Company’s production of Oliver! – at the Church Hill Theatre till Saturday – well worth the ticket. If you can get a ticket for the sell-out run, that is.
