High Life dates, tickets confirmed
On-sale dates set for The High Life tour
Tickets for the new musical of The High Life at the Festival Theatre go on general sale (here) on Tuesday 17 June 2025 at 11am and the King’s Glasgow, (here), 23 hours later on Wednesday 18 June at 10am
The new musical, set 30 years on from its TV original, has been confirmed for the Festival Theatre from Tuesday 7 to Saturday 11 April 2026, with the King’s Glagow run from Tuesday 12 to Saturday 23 May 2026.
Siobhan Redmond, Forbes Masson, Alan Cumming and Patrick Ryecart in the original series of The High Life which is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
The High Life – The Musical. Still Living It! will tour Scotland from March to May 2026, opening at Dundee Rep for previews from Friday 27 March to Wednesday 1 April.
It will continue at the Rep from Thurs 2 – Sat 4 April before touring to the Festival Theatre, Edinburgh (Tue 7 – Sat 11 April), His Majesty’s Theatre, Aberdeen (Tue 14 – Sat 18 Apr), Eden Court, Inverness (Wed 29 April – Sat 2 May), Dundee Rep again (Wed 6 – Sat 9 May), and King’s Theatre, Glasgow (Tue 12 May – Sat 23 May).
cleared for take-off
Based on the original much loved BBC Scotland cult comedy series, this revival sees its iconic characters finding themselves growing older in an ever-changing world. It’s wickedly funny, features new and original music, is stuffed full of camp silliness and is cleared for take-off.
The story, script and lyrics are by Alan Cumming, Forbes Masson and Johnny McKnight. Music is by Forbes Masson, with additional music by Alan Cumming.
Andrew Panton will be directing this National Theatre of Scotland and Dundee Rep Theatre production, in association with Aberdeen Performing Arts and Capital Theatres.
