Showcase auditions!
Opportunity to join top local amateur company
Showcase, the Edinburgh amateur company which stages an annual portmanteau musical theatre production in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, is seeking new members.
The annual Showcase production at the Church Hill Theatre features hit numbers from the musicals and popular music. With high production values and a dedicated core team it consistently gains positive review (see Æ’s reviews here). The company also stage Spring and Christmas concert performances.

Auditions are being held to join the ensemble. Once they are a part of the ensemble, company members have the opportunity to take on central vocal and dance positions in the production.
Auditions will be held at the St Michaels Parish Church, 1 Slateford Road, EH11 1NX, on Thursday 5 and Thursday 12 March 2026. Anyone wishing to audition should email the company committee@showcase-edinburgh.co.uk or fill in the contact form here.

Macmillan Cancer Support
Since its formation in 1991, Showcase has raised funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. To date, the company has raised over £369,000 for the charity, helping them continue their mission to ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
In 2017, Showcase received the Douglas Macmillan Award. This award recognises individuals or groups who act as ambassadors for Macmillan, raise awareness in their communities, and make a significant impact in supporting their work.
