Moving On: A New Musical
★★★☆☆ Fun!
There’s something odd about this old house in Happy Sad Productions’ Moving On at Paradise in Augustines, a high-energy and accessible piece from a well-loved local company.
Spamalot
★★★★☆ Joyous
The moment Josh Wood’s 17-strong band strikes up, it is obvious that Happy Sad Productions are not here to mess around. To play, certainly, but Spamalot at Portobello Town Hall is a show with polish, intent and purpose.
Moonswing
★★★★☆ Heartfelt
Simply Surreal revive their debut play Moonswing to celebrate ten years as a company. Playing at Greenside’s Riddles Court this is a coherent, touching play with a trio of consummate performances and some subtly powerful stage images.
