Tim Minchin announces June 2025 date & ticket on-sale

Australian comedian and Matilda composer Tim Minchin has announced an 18 city UK tour of his new show Songs The World Will Never Hear, hitting the Playhouse on Friday June 20 and the Glasgow SEC the following night.

Tickets for the whole tour go on sale at 12 Noon on Friday 7 February 2025 and are sure to sell out fast. Tickets for the Playhouse will be available here; for the SEC they will be available here.

There will be a limited number of premium-priced VIP seats at each show, with proceeds contributing £5,000 per night to local charities. VIP ticket holders will also receive exclusive signed merchandise. All charity tickets will be sold via Ticketmaster and will be available here.

According to the publicity material, audiences can expect an evening packed with unforgettable songs and stories, as Tim looks back on how a Perth cabaret pianist ended up building one of the most eclectic and extraordinary careers in entertainment.

Announcing the tour, Minchin said: “Incredibly, many of my UK fans have been by my side for two decades. They have never flinched as I’ve turned corners and reinvented myself, always engaging open-heartedly with whatever I have to offer.

“I’m the luckiest artist on the planet, and I can’t wait to be back to deliver a big joyous show, spanning the whole bloody thing.”
