EMT #EdFringe Casting Call
Open call for two #EdFringe concerts
Edinburgh Music Theatre Company has put out an open casting call for performers to take part in its 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival productions.
The company will looking for “talented, hardworking performers” for two concerts, which will each have three performances at St Andrew’s & St George’s West Church, George Street, Edinburgh.

Fringe Fantasmic: Heroes and Villains and Pop Goes the Musical – Anthems will both be directed by Kenneth Pinkerton with musical direction from Paul Gudgin and choreography by Sarah Aitken.
The two 50 minute concerts comprise themed song and dance routines including solo and large company numbers.
Performances will take place Weds 10 – Fri 12 August at 7.10pm and 8.40 pm in St Andrew’s & St George’s West Church, George Street, EH2 2PA.
The auditions will be at the Barclay Viewforth Church, 1 Wright’s Houses, EH10 4HR. The first take place on Saturday 30 April 2016 at 10am for those who wish to be considered for the ensemble.
Auditions for those who wish to be considered as a soloist or a featured singer, will also take place at the Barclay Viewforth Church, with allocated times on Saturday 30 April: 12 noon – 5pm and Wednesday 4 May: 7 – 10pm.

Anyone wishing to audition needs to register by emailing edinburghmusictheatre@live.com specifying whether they wish to be considered for the ensemble or as a soloist or featured singer.
Rehearsals will take place each Wednesday, 7-10pm, from May 18 until August 3 2016. There will be additional rehearsals on Saturday 30 July and 6 August (morning and afternoons), Sunday 7 August (evening) and Tuesday 9 August.
