Stretching out
Revival for physical theatre hit:
At A Stretch, the EdFringe 2017 hit from Edinburgh-based visual theatre company Jordan & Skinner, is being revived for a mini tour, kicking off with a one-day stand at the Assembly Roxy over half term.

Macbeth: Without Words.
★★★☆☆ Bold:
Fresh and experimental, the Ludens Ensemble’s reimagining of the Scottish play is an Expressionist fantasia of sound, projection and movement.

Macbeth in Silence
✭✭✭✩✩ Noisy experiment:
It’s hardly silence in which the Ludens Ensemble perform their three person take on Macbeth, seen in its first work-in-progress outing in the Peely Room of the Hidden Door Festival.

Sex and sanitation
Melanie Jordan on her five star hit:
Sanitise, the Fringe First winning, five star hit of the 2014 Edinburgh fringe, returns this week for two nights only at the Traverse Theatre.

Sanitise
✭✭✭✭✭ smart, accomplished physical theatre
Set in a suburban bathroom, Sanitise focusses on one woman’s struggle between her (thinly) repressed and inarticulate sexual desires and the obsessive need for cleanliness that her shame over these desires precipitates.
