35 years of FCT on the Catwalk

Forth Children’s Theatre is taking to the catwalk this weekend with a unique singing fashion show to celebrate its 35th anniversary.

06 - fct-fundraiserAll are welcome to the one-off musical spectacular, taking place at the company’s usual fringe venue, Inverleith Church Hall, on Saturday evening.

Featuring three generations of FCT members, the show will display some of the huge range of costumes created by the company’s legendary “costume wifies” since the company was formed in 1979. It will be choreographed to numbers from old favourites, such as Les Miserables, Annie, The Wizard of Oz, Hairspray, 13 the musical and Ragtime.

The show will be the parting gift to the company of the its current head “costume wifie”, Audrey Stewart. Her understudies Sue and Linda step out as thoroughly modern milliners in their own right for next Easter’s production.

Tickets for the show cost £5. Refreshments will be available, there will be the usual raffle and all proceeds from the evening will go towards FCT funds.
