FREE PICTURE: The Easter Play Edinburgh 2024 Preview, Thur 28/03/2024:
More than 40 actors of all ages are getting ready to tell the story of Easter this Saturday (30th March 2024) in a large-scale community passion play in Edinburgh’s Princes Street Gardens.
  “Easter: The Women’s Story” will be performed at 2pm on Saturday 30th March beneath the iconic backdrop of Edinburgh Castle. It is the only full passion play being staged in Scotland this year.
 The Easter Play has been performed in Princes Street Gardens since 2005, attracting audiences of up to 3,000 people, and is a highlight of Easter weekend in the city.
  A new version is created every year: this year’s production is a fresh take on the story, telling it from the perspective of 11 women whose lives were changed.
