The Royal Lycuem has announced that its run of Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge is proving so popular that it has had to programme an extra matinee performance to cope with demand.

The new date will be on Wednesday 9th February at 2.30pm. The production is the last in director John Dove’s series of five Arthur Miller’s for the Lyceum and runs to Saturday 12 February.

In a separate announcement, the theatre has said that it will be running two, hour long back-stage theatre tours on Saturday 5th February.

The tours are specifically designed to be family friendly and are suitable for everyone over 5 years old. The tours will include a visit to the green room and show how the lighting and sound come together on stage. Visitors will also be able to explore the set for A View from the Bridge and feel what it’s like to appear onstage.

The tours start at 10am and 11am, costing £3 for adults and £2 for children under 16 years.

Tickets for the new date and the tours are now available to book online through the Royal Lyceum Website or through the box office on 0131-248 4848.

A View from the Bridge is reviewed in The Stage here and in the Edinburgh Evening News here.
