Wicked flies into Edinburgh for Xmas 2014
It’s going to be a wicked festive season in Edinburgh next year, as Wicked, the musical is announced for an eight week run at the Edinburgh Playhouse.
Globophobia to open new Edinburgh theatre space
Edinburgh’s newest theatre space, the 35-seat “Theatre With No Name” is to open next week on Thursday 7 November with a welcome return of fringe hit Globophobia.
VPT’s Spooky Shorts return
Halloween sees the return of Village Pub Theatre’s Spooky Shorts, when a half dozen all-round disturbing and thrillsome new plays will be performed script-in-hand down at the Village Pub in Leith.
Review – The Sorcerer

Fun and frothy, there is little to deconstruct in Edinburgh G&S Society’s entertaining and distinctly slight production of The Sorcerer, which is at the Church Hill theatre to Saturday.

Serial killer play Burke is back
Serial killer play Burke, by Edinburgh playwright Caroline Dunford, is to return for one night only as part of Close Fest, performed in Mary King’s Close under the Royal Mile.
Edinburgh date for Theatre Uncut
Six new short plays by the likes of Kieran Hurley, AJ Taudevin and Tim Price will be performed on November 15 at Summerhall as part of the Edinburgh offering for Theatre Uncut.
