Open call for BBE 2019
Casting call for Easter concert and Summer show:
The Beyond Broadway Experience is staging two courses in 2019 – leading up to a concert at the Usher Hall in the Easter holidays and performances of Legally Blonde the Musical at the King’s in July.
Corelli’s Mandolin for King’s
Rona Munro to adapt de Bernier novel:
A new adaptation of Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, based on the novel by Louis de Bernière, is to tour to the Edinburgh King’s in June 2019.
Still Alice

The portrayal of early-onset Alzheimer’s in Still Alice, touring to the King’s all week, will certainly resonate with many, thanks largely to Sharon Small’s magnetic central performance.
Tynecastle play returns
A War of Two Halves to get further performances:
Site-specific play A War of Two Halves, based on the WW1 story of McCrae’s Battalion, is to get a further performances this November following its a hugely successful run during this year’s EdFringe.

There is plenty of great theatre on Edinburgh’s stages this week, with the Lyceum’s fabulous Twelfth Night just hitting its stride for week two (of three), McLuckies Line touring to the Brunton and Assembly, and the King’s hosting the tour of Still Alice.
