Curtains
★★★★☆ Swishingly good
The Edinburgh University Savoy Operatic Group make a great showing with their production of Kander and Ebb’s musical comedy whodunnit, Curtains, in Paradise at Augustines for the first week of the Fringe.

Into the Woods
★★★★☆ Shady:
There’s laughter, edged with more than little darkness, to the Eusog’s splendid and convincing production of Into The Woods playing the Pleasance theatre to Saturday.

She Can’t Half Talk
★★☆☆☆ Unconvincing lives:
She Can’t Half Talk, EUTC’s Fringe production at the Bedlam, is a varied set of stories that contains much of promise but fails to convince as a coherent whole.

Cyprus Avenue
★★★★☆ Brutal:
Brutal to a point which is almost beyond comprehension, the EUTC production of Cyprus Avenue, at the Bedlam to Saturday, fools with laughter before stunning you to silence.
