On the eve of the centenary of Muriel Spark’s birth, the Usher hall was packed for Muriel Spark: Creme de la Creme, an evening of readings, reminiscences and a performed reading of the Edinburgh-born author’s only play.
Oklahoma!

Tender and melodic, Encore’s production of Oklahoma! at the Brunton to Saturday is marked out by some striking vocal performances and clever attention to romantic detail.
Me and My Girl
★★★★☆”Go there, stay there!”:
Encore, the East Lothian-based amateur theatre company, certainly deserve their applause as they take the musical journey from Lambeth Walk to Hampshire in a bright My and My Girl.
