Sunshine on Leith
★★★★☆ Well-rounded
Playing in the impressive Music Hall at Assembly Rooms throughout the Fringe, Sunshine on Leith by Captivate Theatre is a well-polished display of local talent.
SiX – Teen Edition
★★★★☆ Sterling stuff

Sunshine on Leith
★★★☆☆ Catchy tunes
Captivate Theatre’s sell out audiences for their production of Sunshine on Leith, in the Bijou Spiegel tent outside the Assembly Rooms on George Street, is testament to both the show’s popularity and the group’s reputation.
School of Rock
★★★★☆ Dynamic
Fringe favourites Captivate Theatre bring the musical School of Rock to the Magnusson Theatre at the Edinburgh Academy, featuring a cast of talented local children.
Nativity! The Musical
★★★★☆ Sparkly and shining
Nativity! The Musical, Captivate Theatre’s seasonal offering at Fettes, is ideal Christmas fare. Full of joy and melody, it sometimes lacks polish, but never lacks heart.
Shrek the Musical

Captivate Theatre’s production of Shrek The Musical at The Rose Theatre is a case of young performers being better than their material.
