Strong opening trio
The Edinburgh district round of the 2023 SCDA One Act Play Festival got of to a strong start up at the Church Hill Theatre on Friday night with a trio of plays that demonstrated the versatility of the competing amateur companies and the quality of their actors.
All About My Mother

Clever in its staging and ambitious in scope, the EGTG’s Scottish premiere of All About My Mother, at the Roxy to Saturday, provides plenty to satisfy but a certain amount of confusion along the way.
And They Played Shang-A-Lang

Back for a sixth year at the Stand, Shooglypeg’s production of And They Played Shang-A-Lang is as buoyant as ever.
