The Last Forecast
★★★★★ Outlook: good
In The Last Forecast, Bridie Gane and Catherine Wheels present a comically timed and quirky movement piece for children over six, at Assembly @ Dance Base during the first half of the fringe.
The Mousetrap
★★★☆☆ Dependably twisting
It’s a case of new decade – same old dependability for this touring version of the long-running West End production of The Mousetrap, which has a slightly larger feel to it than when it last celebrated a decade in town.
The Lover
★★★☆☆ Cool:
There is a bittersweet delicacy to The Lover, the Lyceum’s collaboration with Stellar Quines and Scottish Dance Theatre, that cannot quite compensate for a lack of emotional fire.
