Lyceum 23/24 season ticket launched
Lyceum announces biggest season in years
The Lyceum has announced its 2023/24 subscription season, with the biggest programme since 2018. A strongly Scottish and literary theme is balanced by a series of collaborations with companies from Scotland, the UK and further afield.

PPP: BABS
★★★☆☆ Magic energy
BABS, the latest Play, Pie and a Pint at the Traverse, is an endearing work; funny, frothy and deceptively serious, but occasionally pulling in too many directions at once.

Lyceum Christmas Tales I-IV
★★★★☆ Tasty selection
With festive theatre lacking like so much in 2020, the Lyceum’s online Christmas Tales go along way towards compensating.

Lyceum’s Live Xmas
Live Shows planned for Christmas:
The Lyceum Theatre has revealed plans for a live family production in December, staged in a dramatically re-shaped auditorium to enhance social distancing.

Lost At Sea
★★★★☆ Poignant:
Perth Theatre’s production of Lost At Sea, at the King’s until Wednesday, is emotional, humane and beautifully staged.

Sunset Song
✭✭✭✩✩ Faithful
Well put together and extremely well acted, Sell a Door and Beacon Arts Centre’s adaptation of Sunset Song is a neat piece of theatre but fails in the end to do justice to its source.
