Robin Herford
The Woman in Black
★★★★☆ Still so spooky
The Woman in Black – touring to the King’s yet again this week – retains all of its mysterious power to entrance and terrify.
Ten Times Table
★★★☆☆ Solid:
There is a pleasing solidity to the touring production of Alan Ayckbourn’s Ten Times Table at the King’s all week, but it suffers from a shortage of inspiration.
The Secret of Sherlock Holmes
★★★☆☆ Elemental
It is not so much elementary as elemental at the King’s this week, as Jeremy Paul’s tribute to the great late-Victorian detective and his faithful friend and companion takes the stage under Robin Herford’s atmospheric direction.
