Ti Green
Nowhere
★★★☆☆ Personal
Nowhere at the Traverse for the second half of the Fringe, is presented by Fuel as part of the Here and Now showcase. It is an urgently topical and personally heartfelt, if somewhat uneven, production.
Touching The Void
★★★★☆ Viscerally convincing:
There is a depth and grit to Touching The Void at the Lyceum that threatens to carry all before it.
Rebus: Long Shadows
★★★☆☆ Overshadowed:
Despite boasting the talents of two of Scotland’s greatest writers and a more than adequate cast, Rebus: Long Shadows, at the King’s until Saturday, is nowhere near as compelling as the stage debut of Edinburgh’s most celebrated fictional policeman should be.
Rebus full casting
Full cast announced for Long Shadows:
The full cast has been announced for Rebus: Long Shadows, which tours to the Edinburgh King’s in October after opening at Birmingham Rep, while Robin Lefevre will now direct.
What Shadows
★★★☆☆ Puzzling:
There is a delicate romanticism to What Shadows that is at odds with its subject matter. An excellent central performance and high production values cannot ever quite overcome some problematic elements.
