2020 is Glamonatrix time
Tickets go on sale today, Friday 28 June, for the Playhouse date in April 2020 of the ever-dazzling international Queen of Burlesque’s latest extravaganza – Dita Von Teese: Glamonatrix.
Billed at “the most lavish touring burlesque show in history”, Von Teese’s all-new revue will be tingling the fashion buds in Australia and New Zealand this Autumn, with dates in Europe in the Spring of 2020, arriving at the Edinburgh Playhouse on Tuesday April 28 2020.

The Glamonatrix revue promises an uber-glamorous variety burlesque with extravagant new production numbers from Dita and her cast.
It follows the success of The Art of Teese tour, and will play eight dates in the UK, from the Brighton Dome via the Alexandra Birmingham and London Palladium to the Edinburgh Playhouse and Manchester O2 Apollo before heading to the Dublin Olympia.
“With the success of my last tour of Europe, I came home more inspired than ever and got straight into building new acts,” say Von Teese.
“I am coming back with an even bigger show than I’ve ever toured with before. Being in these historic theatres with audiences coming dressed to the nines, creates this incredible atmosphere unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.”
Embracing sensuality
Von Teese and her cohorts will be wearing and discarding costumes created by famed corset maker Mister Pearl, British designer Jenny Packham, French couturier Alexis Mabille, burlesque icon Catherine D’Lish, Brooke Brothers and more.
Shoe aficionados will no doubt delight in the extraordinary bespoke footwear by Christian Louboutin.
“For me, burlesque has always been about finding my own power and confidence,” adds Von Teese.
“Embracing sensuality and encouraging others to do the same in their own lives. Glamour is the art of creating mystery and allure, and the new Glamonatrix show embraces all of these qualities.”
Tickets for all venues go on sale from 10am on Friday 28 June 2019.
