★★★★☆    Hilarious

King’s Theatre: Tue 24 – Fri 27 May 2016
Junior review by Cora Dibdin

James and the Giant Peach is a book by Roald Dahl. A boy goes on an adventure with giant insects and a humungous peach.

The play was good. It’s quite different from the book but in a good way.

The characters were all good. I liked the aunts. In the book there was a silkworm and an earthworm and I think the silkworm helped make the threads for the seagulls.

The people and the songs were quite funny. The costumes were very interesting.

I would probably recommend it to somebody who likes very, very funny things. I think it was all good except they missed out the cloud people which is a very interesting part of the story.

Anyone who likes hilarious things will like this show.
