The rehearsal on today, Friday 6 January 2015, will be live-streamed from 12.30-1pm.

Principal dancer Eve Mutso will be talking about how she transforms into the fragile and tragic character of Blanche DuBois and Scottish Ballet’s Artistic Director Christopher Hampson will also be talking about the production as they rehearse scenes from it.

The streaming, the latest of Scottish Ballet’s ongoing Uncut events, will be available to view on the Uncut page of the Scottish Ballet website: from 12.30pm.

The ballet is a collaboration between theatre and film director Nancy Meckler and international choreographer Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, danced to music by Peter Salem. It arrives at the Festival Theatre on March 18 for five performances only.

During the run there will be several opportunities to find out more about the production. On Thursday 19 March, there is a pre-show talk focusing on the dance and on Friday 20 March a talk focusing on the music. On the Friday there will also be a post-show discussion.
