SIX the Musical posts June 2024 date

SIX the Musical is returning to Edinburgh in June 2024, spending a week at the Edinburgh Playhouse, with tickets on general sale today.

SIX (Tue 11 – Sat 15 June 2024. Tickets) will play eight performances including early evening slots on Wed 12 and Fri 14 with a 4pm matinee on Sat 15. It joins the recently announced Girls’ Night Oot! which returns to the Playhouse for one night only (Fri 23 Feb 2024. Tickets).

Six returns for a third (or is it fourth?) time in 2024…

SIX is a modern retelling of the lives of the six wives of Henry VIII, presented in the form of a pop concert. It premiered at the Fringe in 2017 as a student production with music, book, and lyrics by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss.

The show’s subsequent success has been phenomenal, with tours all around the world. It has remained in the West End (apart from during Covid) since it first opened in January 2019. The UK tour has been more-or-less continuous since it reopened in June 2021 after the Covid hiatus and is currently booking through to September 2024.

Girls’ Night Oot!

Where SIX is slick perfection with all-new songs, Girls’ Night Oot! from Glasgow-based Inside-Out Productions is a unabashedly boysterous night of banterous and bootyliciously good fun, written and directed by Paul Harper-Swan and aimed firmly at the over-18s market.

Girls’ Night Oot! features a smash hit retro soundtrack.

Four women go off on a hen night with a smash hit retro soundtrack. This is the world of Hot Stuff, Girls Just wanna have fun and I’m Every Woman. Donna Hazelton (Chicago), Natalie Tulloch (The Steamie), Pamela Byrne (River City) and Sarah Galbraith (Phantom of the Opera, Broadway) are currently slated to appear in Edinburgh.
