Lyceum cancels performances of Laurel and Hardy

The remaining six performances this week of Laurel and Hardy at the Lyceum have been cancelled due to an incidence of Covid 19 in the company.

Performances are scheduled to resume on Tuesday 21 June 2022. Ticket holders are being asked to contact the Lyceum box office to reschedule their visit or arrange a refund: boxoffice@lyceum.org.uk.

The Lyceum also says that it is attempting to contact all affected ticket holders via e-mail to reschedule for one of next week’s seven shows or arrange for ticket refunds.

The theatre added in a statement on social media: “Please rest assured that company members are all doing well, thank you for your patience and we look forward to welcoming you to The Lyceum to enjoy this wonderful show next week.”

This is the second major show to be cancelled in a week. On Tuesday, the King’s Theatre announced that all the remaining performances of Sunshine on Leith would be cancelled due to Covid in the cast.

Our review of Laurel & Hardy is here: ★★★★☆ Skilfully hilarious.
