Radebe’s new show to tour to Edinburgh and Glasgow in 2024

Strictly Come Dancing favourite Johannes Radebe will tour his new show House of Jojo in 2024, with dates at the Glasgow Armadillo and Edinburgh Playhouse in April 2024.

Johannes Radebe: The House of Jojo

Radebe was already a favourite of the Strictly professional dancers after joining in 2018, when he made history as the professional half of the first all-male dance partnership in the UK format, joining up with John Whaite in 2021.

He has previously toured two solo shows rounds the UK, besides joining the Strictly Come Dancing Live shows in 2022. He played the Edinburgh Festival Theatre with his Freedom tour in 2022 and his Freedom Unleashed tour in May this year.

Both shows drew on Radebe’s Zimbabwean heritage and upbringing in Joannesburg, mashing up South African dance styles with ballroom sequences to glittery effect.

Swirl, sip and knock it back

House of Jojo promises “a new story” as Radebe is joined by “a host of eclectic characters in this brand-new theatrical celebration jam-packed with roof-raising music, dazzling costumes and of course, world class dance.”

The 38 date tour opens at the Swan Theatre in High Wycombe on March 29 and ends at the Empire Theatre Liverpool on June 2.
