What’s on Edinburgh’s stages this week…

It’s a week dominated by the Edinburgh International Children’s Festival, although there is the no little matter of the big touring producing of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel at the Festival Theatre and the final week of Anna Karenina at the Lyceum.

There are also some tasty treats to be had at the Pleasance, where CYMERA: Scotland’s Festival of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Writing is taking place over the weekend. In Musselburgh, the much delayed production of Made in Dagenham from MAMA is at the new venue of the Loretto Private School Theatre while the Brunton is being repaired.

Terry Pratchet fans will be particularly looking forward to Stawmodie’s producion of Guards Guards Guards at the Pleasance. On a smaller scale Dave Robb is bringing his one-man take on Poe’s The Devil in the Belfry, directed by Flavia D’Avila, and for one performance only, Dan Collins is performing his one man Dune! The Musical.
